 Mika Boorem mini-bio: Born in Tucson, Arizona on the 18th of August 1987, Mika Boorem has built up a respectable filmography for a young actress. After she and her family moved to LA, she landed her first role on "Touched by an Angel" (1994) in 1996. She has received several "young artist" nominations.Mika has become known for starring in the films Sleepover (2004) and Smile (2005). She had supporting roles in the films Jack Frost(1998), The Patriot (2000), Along Came a Spider (2001), Hearts in Atlantis (2001), Blue CrushCarolina (2002) and (2003); and recurring roles on the TV series Dawson's Creek. She can also be seen in the Lifetime Movie drama, Augusta gone, The Initiation of Sarah, and a guest starring role on House. She also guest starred in an episode of Ghost Whisperer during season 4 Mika has been nominated for a Teen Choice Award for Choice TV Sidekick (for her role on Dawson's Creek. Mika was featured in American idol Winner and RCA recording artist David Cook's music video "Light On."
