Mia Sara mini-bio: She has been married to Jason Connery (Sean Connery's son) since March
1996. In June 1997 they had a baby boy, Dashiell Quinn. Mia won her first
feature starring role, debuting as 'Princess Lili' in Ridley Scott's fairy
tale adventure, Legend with Tom Cruise. That same year she gained the role
of the character we best know and love her as, Sloan Peterson in Ferris
Bueller's Day Off which she claims was "one of the best scripts" she had
ever read.
Her other big film was 1994's
Timecop, with Jean Claude Van-Damme. Mia won the "Best Supporting Actress"
Saturn award from the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy, and Horror Films
for her performance in this film. She was also in a couple episodes of the
TV series Time Trax, and two episodes of Chicago Hope as Annie, a
post-operative transsexual.
Mia has two Wheaton terriers. Her hobbies include reading and flying.
Sometime around the filming of Timecop, Mia took flight training and
received her private pilot's license.
