Born May 16, 1986, Megan began her career as a model. She won several awards. Her debut film was Holiday in the Sun, but her most popular role thus far has to be the movie Transformers which has launched her into the spotlight.
Megan was born in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Her parents are Macey Tonachio and Franklin Foxx - though her father dropped the last X just prior to Megan's birth. She also has an older sister.
Megan claims to have ancestors of Irish, French and Native American descent.
This year, you can look forward to see Megan reprise her role in the latest Transformers installment, as well as catch her in the movie Jennifer's Body.

Basically, she started her career at the age of 16, after winning several awards in modelling contests in which she participated, such as the 1999 American Modeling and Talent Convention, in South Carolina.
Her film career breakthrough started with the movie Holiday In the Sun where she co-starred along side the Olsen twins, as a rival of one of the twins, Ashley Olsen. It was only the start, as she continued playing only in TV-Series as Ocean Ave., What I Like About You (only 1 episode), and Two and a Half Men (as well 1 episode).
She returned to movies, playing in the teen comedy: Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen (2004) in which Lindsay Lohan was in the leading role. After this, Megan played again a small role in the one season TV series The Help, until her best performance in a TV Series playing Sydney Shanowski in the Emmy Nominated TV Series: Hope & Faith (2003).

After some average roles in movies and TV Series it was the time for her big coming-out in the cinematography world. In 2007 she was cast as the lead actress in the highly anticipated Transformers movie, based on the toy and cartoon saga with the same name, in which she played Shia LaBoeuf's love interest, in the role of Mikaela Banes.
It was only the beginning of a prolific career, in which she soon was approached to play in movies as How to Lose Friends & Alienate People (2008) and Whore (2008).
