|  Marilyn Manson mini-bio: Marilyn Manson (born Brian Hugh Warner) is the lead singer of the band Marilyn Manson. His current name is formed from the names Marilyn Monroe and Charles Manson. He attended Heritage Christian School, but was soon turned off from Christianity, later graduating from Canton's GlenOak High School, Warner and his family moved to Fort Lauderdale, Florida. While living in Fort Lauderdale, he studied journalism and theater at Broward Community College. While working part time interviewing bands like "Trent Reznor" from NIN, he later formed the beginning of marilyn manson and the spooky kids. Later on known exclusively as Marilyn Manson. Manson is a long time musician, has had several film roles and cameos in both dramatic pictures and documentaries (notably Bowling for Columbine). Brian Hugh Warner a.k.a Marilyn Manson is an only child of Hugh and Barb warner. as a child he was raised as a protestant episcopalian christian.
As a child he was very quiet and shy. He wore his hair in a bowl-cut and had abnormally large earlobes which he later had clipped by a surgeon.
Mostly famous for being the frontman and lead singer/vocalist of the shock rock band Marilyn Manson.
Aside from being a singer, he also composes his own songs and plays the guitar, keyboards, drums, and pan flute from time to time.
Before being famous, the self proclaimed "Anti-Christ Superstar" was a journalism student and was an assistant entertainment editor for The Observer, Broward Community College's newspaper . He also worked as a part time record store employee before he dropped out from College.
When he dropped out, he started a job as a reporter for 25th Parallel. He would also go to open mike nights so his poems would get some publicity.
Anton LaVey has deemed him reverend for the church of satan before his death in 1997.
2008 Band Member "Twiggy" Ramirez aka Jeordie White rejoins the band.
Marilyn Manson has also been married once to Burlesque star Dita Von Teese. As of 2006 the rocker and Evan Rachel Wood have been on and off. January 2010 he proposes to her while performing a show in Paris.
