Born on April 10, 1984 as Amanda Leigh Moore, Mandy got her start as a young teeny bopper pop singer.Her first album, So Real, garnished a hit song "Candy".Her follow-up album to that was more of a "redo" called "I Wanna Be With You", containing new tracks as well as remixes from her first album. The title track was made into a music video for the movie. "Center Stage".Her third album, self-titled, had the hits "In My Pocket", "Crush" and "Cry" - the latter, which the video was centered around her debut movie release, "A Walk To Remember".Her role in a Walk to Remember garnered her a few minor awards and nominations, and she's gone to star in several movies since then.Mandy also released an album of cover songs titled "Coverage" and her only single off that album was "Have a Little Faith in Me". She was then dropped by her record label at the time.Mandy came out with a new album titled "Wild Hope" in 2007 which is much more mature than her previous albums. Her first single off the album was "Extraordinary".Mandy also has come out with her own clothing line entitled "Mblem" and she is involved with various charities.Mandy is set to release her new album, entitled Amanda Leigh, on May 29, 2009.
