 Lea Thompson mini-bio: Lea Thompson became familiar with the stage as a child, studying and performing ballet for many years and hoping to make it her career. When dance didn't work out, she turned to acting. Her career making role came in 1985 as Lorraine Baines Mcfly in the hit movie "Back to The Future". After some poor career choices following the film, she found success again with the much loved sitcom "Caroline in the City", as well as work on the broadway stage most notably as the lead character in the revival of "Cabaret".
