|  Laurie Holden mini-bio: Laurie Holden is an American/Canadian actress and human rights activist. She began her career when she plays Rock Hudson's daughter in The Martian's Chronicles (directed by her stepfather director Michael Anderson). She is most noted for the recurring role of Marita Covarrubias on "The X-Files", Mary Travis on "The Magnificent Seven", Olivia Murray on "The Shield" and Andrea on "The Walking Dead". She co-starring with Jim Carrey in the film The Majestic but is also well known for her role of the police officer, Cybil Bennett in the Silent Hill movie. She also play Michael Chicklis love's interrest in Fantastic Four, and Amanda Dumfries on The Mist. She is the daughter of actors Larry Holden and Adrienne Ellis. Holden spent her freshman year at McGill University, and then transferred to UCLA to do a BA in theater arts.
