| | KEVIN DURAND BIOGRAPHY | Kevin Durand is a Canadian actor, born January 14, 1974, in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada. He attended Port Arthur Collegiate Institute (PACI) and St. Ignatius High School. Kevin first acting experience was in high school drama class. Durand is best known for his role as Joshua in "Dark Angel" (2001-2002); the series also helped catalyst the careers of Michael Weatherly, Jenson Ackles and Jessica Alba. He also starred in season 4 and 6 of "Lost" as Keamy and as the archangel Gabriel in the 2010 film Legion. He has acted alongside Ashton Kutcher in the movie The Butterfly Effect as his cellmate, Carlos. He also had a recurring role as Agent Jay Swopes in the American miniseries remake of Touching Evil. Kevin appeared in three episodes of Stargate SG-1 as the goa'uld Zipacna. He also had small roles in Walking Tall, Big Momma's House 2, Wild Hogs, and a slightly bigger role in Smokin' Aces, as one of the Tremor brothers. His latest movies include the remake of 3:10 to Yuma with Russell Crowe and Christian Bale, Fred Dukes/The Blob in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Robin Hood (also starring Russell Crowe) and the main antagonist in I Am Number Four.
