Actress Katie Leung had no intention of becoming an actress when she auditioned for the role of Cho Chang in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire at an open casting call in her hometown of Glasgow, Sco... read moretland. In fact, the then-18-year-old had never even performed in a school play, but at her father's encouragement, she attended the audition and a few callbacks later, she was known to millions of Harry Potter fans as Cho. Born to Chinese immigrants, Leung is fluent in Cantonese. She attended high school at the prestigious Hamilton College in South Lanarkshire before being cast in Goblet of Fire.
