As time went on Katharine won bigger roles which would eventually build up to a lead role in Ginger Snaps acting alongside her friend and co-star Emily Perkins.In 2002 Insomnia was released with Katharine appearing with Al Pacino. In 2004 she appeaared alongside Woody Harrelson and Jason Lewis in an adaptation of Kenneth Lonergan's This is our youth.2005 was a year mainly containing television bit-parts, as well as work on independent films, Show Me and Turning Paige.
