|  Joey Jordison mini-bio: Joey Jordison (his real name is Nathan Jonas Jordison) is an American drummer from Des Moines, Iowa. He is best known for his role as drummer for Slipknot during the 1990s and 2000s. He has also played with industrial-metal group Ministry, high profile metal act Metallica, and black metal legends Satyricon. He is also well known as the guitarist for Murderdolls, a glam metal/horror punk band which he founded in the 2000s, that is currently on indefinate hiatus due to the Murderdolls' members' side projects.
