Jenny Lewis mini-bio: Jenny Lewis was born on January 8, 1976, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Her acting debut was in a Jell-O commercial. During the mid-1980s, her parents divorced and she moved with her mom, Linda, to Los Angeles, California. In 1999, she gathered a couple of her friends, Blake Soper, Pierre De Reeder, and Dave Rock, and formed the band Rilo Kiley.

She once appeared on the TV game show "Card Sharks" (1978), hosted by Bob Eubanks, as a contestant during a teen or junior week of the game.
She has starred with both Fred Savage (in The Wizard (1989)) and Ben Savage (in Big Girls Don't Cry... They Get Even (1992)).
As well as providing the lead vocals for her band Rilo Kiley, she also does backup vocals in the band The Postal Service on some tracks.
Releasing first solo album titled "Rabbit Fur Coat" in January 2006.
