Her first television role was on Joey, and first film was in Red Eye. She also appeared on several television shows such as Six Feet Under, The Comeback, Entourage, Stacked, How I met your mother, Heroes, Pushing Daisies, Ghost Whisperer and Ugly Betty. Her notable film roles include Paul Blart: Mall Cop (where she played Amy the love interest), Get Smart's Bruce and Lloyd: Out of Control (where she played the love interest to Masi Oka) and had a starring role in Epic Movie, where she met her husband Adam Campbell. She has had other supporting roles in films like Flags of our Fathers, Bar Starz, and Blind Guy Driving. More recently Jayma was cast in the hit show Glee. Jayma plays Emma, the Germophobic guidance counsellor. Jayma recently won a SAG Award for Best Acting Ensemble for the television show Glee.
