Jamie Campbell Bower was born on November 22, 1988 in London, England to parents David and Annie. Jamie attended Bedales School in Hampshire and was once part of the National Youth Music Theatre. He began acting when family friend Laura Michelle Kelly referred him to her agent.
 It was while he was attending school when he first heard he'd been cast in the movie the Tim Burton movie "Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street" (2007), based on the broadway play. Jamie played young "Anthony Hope" alongside actors Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham-Carter. Jamie said of his experience, "Tim Burton is a genius. It was amazing to work with him, and he has an incredible mind. It was my first role and I was scared, but he acted great." That same year he appeared in a TV movie "The Dinner Party". He was then seen in the Guy Ritchie-directed film "RocknRolla" (2008) in a small role as "Rocker". He also appeared in the Dutch film "Oorlogswinter" ("Winter in Wartime") (2008) in the role of "Jack". Jamie again was cast in a big role in the movies "New Moon" (2009) and "Eclipse" (2010), the sequels to the mega-successful movie "Twilight" (2008). Jamie played "Caius", one of the vampires from the Volturi clan. Jamie has added another popular franchise to his resume, The Harry Potter series. Jamie will appear as "Gellart Grindelwald", the dark wizard and former friend of Albus Dumbledore, in the last two films of the Harry Potter series, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1" (2010) and "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2" (2011). He recently finished a movie entitled "London Boulevard" (2010), and in 2009 appeared on 6 episodes of the television show "The Prisoner". His most recent work can be seen as a young "King Arthur", the lead role in the Starz TV series "Camelot" (2011- ). Fans will also see him continue his role as "Caius" in the upcoming final two installments of "The Twilight Saga" film franchise, "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1" (2011) and "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2" (2012).
 Jamie is the ex-lead singer of the band "The Darling Buds", music described as acoustic pop/punk . He models clothes for his designer ex-girlfriend Zoe Graham and recently became engaged to "Harry Potter" co-star Bonnie Wright in 2010, confirming rumors of their budding romance. He is good friends with "New Moon" co-star Edi Gathegi.
