Austin performed the voice for Diego, the lead character in the show Go Diego Go!, which is shown on Nick Jr. He has also provided voices for the animated movies The Ant Bullyand Everyone's Hero, and appeared in the Disney Channel Original Movie, Johnny Kapahala: Back on Board, The Perfect Game, a sports drama about a little league team from Mexico, which becomes the first non-US team to win the little league world series. During filming, he became close friends with his costars, Jansen Panettiere and Moises Arias. In 2007 he got the role as Max Russo in the Disney Channel Series "The Wizards of Waverly Place". He also recently starred in Hotel for Dogs, co-starring Emma Roberts. Austin is currently filming Wizards of Waverly Place:the Movie in Puerto Rico.
