George played the piano, guitar, saxophone and-of all things-the accordion. In addition, he sang beautifully (view "Call Me Madam"). He recorded an album, "The George Sanders Touch...Songs for the Lovely Lady", in 1958. He composed music and one of the songs included in the album was one of his compositions. He spoke Spanish, French, German, Russian, as well as English and enjoyed reading philosophy in the original German and French. He drew the blueprints for his first home and built the furniture. When he bought a car he would requently take the engine apart and adjust the steering to his needs. The book he wrote in 1960, "Memoirs of a Professional Cad", is extremely witty and amusing.
