Daniel Henney mini-bio: Daniel Phillip Henney ' (born November 28, 1979) is an American expatriate
actor in South Korea. His father is an American of British descent and his
mother is an American of Korean descent. Henney started modeling in the U.S.
in 2001 and has worked in France, Italy, Hong Kong and Taiwan. After his
debut in Korea last year with an advertisement for the men¹s cosmetics line
Odyssey, his face became better known in commercials with Jeon Ji-hyun for
Olympus cameras and Kim Tae-hee for Klasse air conditioners. He only made
the leap to drama with ³My Name is Kim Sam-soon.² Henney has a working
knowledge of the Korean language, and has performed in roles that required
the speaking of German (Spring Waltz) and Japanese (Seducing Mr. Robin). In
addition, he was shown on Esprit commercials around the world
