BIOGRAPHY | Cory Allan Monteith was born May 11, 1982 in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. After dropping out of school in the ninth grade because of his curious and rebellious nature, Cory worked a number of odd jobs until he was discovered by casting director, Maureen Webb. He made his own way to Vancouver, British Columbia, where he was picked up by filmmaker, David DeCoteau, then went on to make more appearances in film and on television, with titles including Kayaand Kyle XY. Cory got his big break, however, when he was cast on the hit televison show, Glee, as Finn Hudson; a popular high school football player who struggles with his identity after joining the Glee club. |
