In 1990 she was a finalist of the Globe Shakespeare Competition. In Australia and New Zealand, Claudia became famous when she appeared in several TV series. She played a main character in City Life and a recurring character in A Country Practice. Guest appearances in the TV series such as G. P., Police Rescue, Seven Deadly Sins, Good Guys Bad Guys, Water Rats and Beastmaster made her more famous. She also had a two episode part in Hercules - The Legendary Journeys. | Farscape by Jim Henson Production. For her role as Aeryn Sun, Claudia won a Saturn Award for Best Actress in 2005. Her only two big screen appearances were a short appearance in the science fiction thriller Pitch Black in 2000 and as Pandora in Queen Of The Damned in 2002, a sequel to Interview With the Vampire. Unfortunately, almost all her scenes ended up on the cutting room floor and she only had one line. For the sake of filming the mini-series Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars, Claudia postponed her honeymoon. She was married in 2004 and spent her two month honeymoon in Italy. She gave birth to a baby boy in December 2005 and another in November 2007. Her pregnancy was written into a story arc of Stargate SG-1 in late season 9.
