CHRISTOPHER JUDGE BIOGRAPHY
Christopher Judge was born and raised in Los Angeles, and is of African American and Cherokee descent.

Christopher always knew that he wanted to be an actor and quickly realized that sports would be his door to an acting career.

He enrolled at the University of Oregon on a football scholarship in 1982, playing defensive safety. In addition to earning the Casanova Award in 1982 (given to the freshman or newcomer of the year), he was also a three time All American, a Pacific-10 Conference Selection in 1984, and played in the 1985 Hula Bowl. He also excelled in baseball and was urged to give up football by his baseball coach.

While at the University of Oregon, Christopher took pre-med, then philosophy, then psychology, then finally telecommunications and film with a minor in psychology. In his senior year he won a regional contest to host the West Coast Fox KLSR Morning Show. He used the opportunity to get an agent and move to Los Angeles.

Christopher began studying at the Howard Fine Studio in LA in 1989. His first movie roles were in Bird on a Wire and Cadence. He also appeared in Neon Rider, MacGyver, and 21 Jump Street. In the following years, Judge had small parts in The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, House Party 2, and as a regular on Sirens from 1994 to 1995, before being cast in Stargate SG-1 in 1997.

While living in LA, Christopher roomed with a model photographer who began giving him extra work. He became quite good at it and this background in photography came in handy when he and SG-1 co-star, Michael Shanks, started up Slacktwaddle, a company created to promote science fiction and "to satisfy loyal sci-fi fans with well priced and exclusive merchandise". They released The Women of Sci-Fi Calendar in 2007, featuring several women they had worked with in the past, including Michael Shanks wife, Lexa Doig. There were plans for subsequent calendars, including a Men of Sci-Fi calendar. But nothing has been seen from Slacktwaddle in several years.

Christopher also wrote three Stargate SG-1 episodes, The Changeling, Birthright, and Sacrifices; and provided the story basis for The Warrior. After Stargate was canceled, Judge began writing a script for a pilot called Rage of Angels, which is now complete and in the hands of Direct TV and Starz Media.

Christopher also does voice acting for animated series and video games, including the voice of Magneto on X-Men: Evolution and Jericho in Turok. Years ago, Christopher recorded an album, but it was only released in Asia. The first single was entitled "We're Going to Take Our Clothes Off" and went to number one in Asia.

Christopher was previously married to
Margaret Judge and they had 3 children, Cameron, Christopher, and Catrina. He is now engaged to model/actress Gianna Patton and they have a daughter, Chloe.
