Chris was Born in 1983 on August 11th, in Melbourne Victoria Australia Was raised in Melbourne but Later moved to Phillip Island. The Hemsworth's would travel through different parts of Australia. Chris has worked in an Indigenous region in the Northern Territory on his Aunt & Uncle's farm. 
In The U.S. on May 6th 2011 Chris will come crashing into theaters as Thor the Norse God of Thunder (Heathen Hurler of Mjollnr) in Marvel's silver screen adaptation of their comic series. Chris is also Voicing the video game adaptation which as far as I have found will be available in the U.S. three days before (May 3rd) the Hammer falls in theaters. Now we have a release date and some insite July 26, 2013 release date for Thor 2 director Kenneth Branagh will not return to helm the sequel, a new director is being sought and the selection process is starting soon if not imediately. Don Pane has already been hired to pen the sequel & has worked on My Super Ex-Girlfriend, Fantastic Four: Rise Of The Silver Surfer, and a handful of The Simpsons episodes.(so hopefully the humor from the first will bridge into the sequel) The only lock of return actors at this point is Hemsworth.
