Charlie Day mini-bio:
Charlie was born in New York City, NY to Mary, a piano teacher, and Thomas C. Day, an English/Music professor at Salve Regina University. Day spent most of his childhood in Middletown, RI. He attended the Pennfield School before graduating from the Portsmouth Abbey School. Afterwards he attended Merrimack College in Massachusetts, where he played baseball. Besides being a star of the FX comedy series It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, he also writes and executive produces. He has also appeared on the television series Third Watch, Law and Order, and Reno 911!. He has also appeared in memorable supporting parts in the films Horrible Bosses (2011) and Going the Distance (2010). Day is married to Mary Elizabeth Ellis, who portrayes The Waitress on the FX show, a woman Charlie is obsessed with but wants nothing to do with him. They met in 2001 and started dating in 2004 when they were featured on Reno 911! as incestuous cousins. They are expecting their first child in December 2011.
