|  Brendon Urie mini-bio: Urie was born in Summerlin, Nevada, the youngest of five children, to a Mormon family. At the age of 12, Urie was diagnosed with attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder. He attended Palo Verde High School, where he met future ex-Panic bassist Brent Wilson in his guitar class. Wilson asked Urie to try out for a band he was in, since they needed a replacement guitarist. Brendon started as the guitarist, but after hearing him sing, the band unanimously named him as the singer. After he graduated from high school, Brendon's parents highly encouraged him to attend college, but he chose to stick to his interests in music. Because of this, his parents kicked him out of their house, and Urie was forced to take up a job at Smoothie Hut to pay rent for his one room apartment and the band's practice space | VITAL STATS | Brendon Urie Information:
