Saran is in charge of engineering and technical operations at Flixster. Prior to founding Flixster, Saran led the engineering team at Edusoft, a company that built an assessment and data analysis platform for public school districts. Prior to that, Saran was a lead engineer at Scient, where he helped launch hotwire.com and mlb.com. Saran holds a BSE in Electrical Engineering from Princeton University.

Steve is responsible for operations, finance, business development and corporate development at Flixster. Steve had over 20 years experience in building early stage technology ventures. Prior to Flixster, Steve was SVP of Business Development and Corporate Development with Edusoft, head of business development at Amber Networks and founder and EVP of VoicePlex Corporation. Steve has also been an EIR at Seed Capital and Infinity Capital.
James Smith — Chief Revenue Officer

James is in charge of ad sales and ad sales operations at Flixster. James has over twenty five years in revenue and business development roles, starting his sales career at Rolling Stone Magazine, moving into the digital world in the ’90s at Sony Pictures Digital Entertainment (SVP/General Manager); then SVP, Strategic Partner Sales at AOL and, preceeding Flixster, CRO at the Huffington Post.
